Children's Hospice
“Yoga is our one, consistent island of comfort and self-care in the sometimes-rough seas of pediatric hospice work. We treat our spirits with an hour with Marianne or Jenn from Yoga On High every week, without having to leave work. It fills our cups, boosts our energy, and leaves us feeling like we can continue this work. We are eternally grateful to Jenn, Marianne, and the Yoga on High Foundation.”

In 2013, we began offering classes at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Hospice center. Through iRest Yoga Nidra and Urban Zen modalities, teachers offer an hour of relaxation and also coping and self-care techniques to the doctors, nurses and other staff members who do this important and difficult work.
"I have really enjoyed the yoga self care program for Hospice workers. It was particularly helpful when we had about 12 young patients die over a 3 week period this winter—the most losses in a short time for our group - and some were patients we had followed for a long time and were attached to them and their families. The yoga time really helped us center individually and as a group after this time. Thank you for your support of our work."
